Activities Plan
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) - Transfer to Arusha
- • Arrival: Upon arrival at JRO, meet and greet with your safari guide.
- • Transfer: 1-hour drive to Arusha City.
- • Accommodation: Check-in at a comfortable hotel in Arusha. If time allows, safari briefing will be done on this day, otherwise, it will be done the following morning before departing for safari.
• Dinner and overnight stay in Arusha at Arusha Safari Lodge – on Half Board (Dinner & Breakfast)
Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park (Game Drive)
- • Breakfast: Early breakfast at the hotel.
- • Drive: 2-hour drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
- • Activity: Full-day game drive exploring the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife.
- • Lunch: Picnic lunch inside the park.
• Overnight stay near Manyara National Park at Heart and Soul Lodge Manyara on Half Board (Dinner, Breakfast)
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park - Lake Natron (Waterfall Hike)
- • Breakfast: Early morning breakfast.
- • Drive: 3-hour drive to Lake Natron.
- • Activity: Afternoon hike to Engare Sero Waterfalls, a scenic trek through canyons and lush vegetation. Enjoy a serene pool at the base of the waterfall and a chance to swim, stand under the waterfall, or picnic on nearby rocks.
- • Hot Lunch: At the lodge/camp.
- • Relax: Free time to enjoy the scenery.

Day 4: Lake Natron (Lakeside Walk) - Central Serengeti (En-route Game Drive)
- • Morning Activity: Guided walk along the shores of Lake Natron to observe flamingos and unique landscapes.
- • Breakfast: At the lodge/camp.
- • Drive: 6-7 hour drive to Central Serengeti with en-route game viewing.
- • Lunch: Picnic lunch en route.
- • Game Drive: As you enter Serengeti, enjoy an en-route safari towards the lodge/camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Central Serengeti
- • Breakfast: Early morning at the lodge/camp.
- • Activity: Full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration (seasonal).
- • Lunch: Picnic lunch in the bush.

Day 6: Second Full Day in Central Serengeti
- • Breakfast: At the lodge/camp.
- • Activity: Another full day exploring different areas of the Central Serengeti.

Day 7: Central Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

- • Drive: 3.30 hour drive to Ngorongoro.
- • Lunch: At a picnic site.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Tour - Tarangire National Park
- • Breakfast: Early morning at the lodge/Camp.
- • Activity: Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. Spot rhinos, lions, and large elephant herds.
- • Lunch: Picnic in the crater.
- • Drive: 3-hour transfer to Tarangire National Park.

Day 9: Full Day in Tarangire National Park/Silale Swamps
- • Breakfast: At the lodge/camp.
- • Activity: Full-day safari in Tarangire, known for its baobab trees and large elephant herds. This is an opportunity to visit The Silale Swamps which is a crucial year-round water source, attracting large herds of elephants, buffalo, and various predators.
- • Lunch: Picnic site or at the lodge/camp.

Day 10: Tarangire Game Drive - Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

- • Activity: Final morning game drive in Tarangire.
- • Drive: 3-hour drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.
- • Lunch: En-route.
