2. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed methods. Any bank or transfer charges are the responsibility of the client. Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees will apply depending on how many days prior to the tour the cancellation is received. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within a reasonable period of time.

4. Alterations by the Client
Requests to amend itineraries after confirmation will be handled as flexibly as possible. Any additional costs resulting from such changes will be borne by the client.

5. Alterations by the Company
Sons & Daughter Safaris reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, accommodation, or services when necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Any such changes will be communicated promptly and, where possible, will be of equal or higher standard.

6. Travel Insurance
All travellers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, loss of luggage, and evacuation. Sons & Daughter Safaris will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage beyond its control.

7. Health and Safety
Clients are responsible for ensuring they meet all health, vaccination, and travel requirements for Tanzania. Please inform us of any medical conditions or special needs before travel so we can make appropriate arrangements.

8. Wildlife and Park Regulations
Our guides strive to provide the best wildlife experience possible; however, sightings cannot be guaranteed as animals move freely in their natural environment. Guests are required to follow park regulations and guide instructions at all times for safety and conservation reasons.

9. Liability
Sons & Daughter Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, and other service providers and cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or delay caused by third parties or events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, flight delays, or political disturbances.

10. Third-Party Referral Disclaimer
If you were referred to Sons & Daughter Safaris by another party (e.g., a travel agent), you agree to hold that party blameless. Any concerns or claims must be directed solely to Sons & Daughter Safaris under these Terms & Conditions.

11. Reporting Issues During Travel
If any issue arises during your safari, please inform your camp, hotel manager, or guide immediately so it can be resolved. If the problem persists, contact the Sons & Daughter Safaris office right away for assistance.

12. Baggage
All baggage and personal effects are the client’s responsibility. Sons & Daughter Safaris is not liable for any loss or damage. Each client is allowed one soft bag (max 15 kg) and a small daypack. Hard suitcases are discouraged. Some domestic flights or trekking tours may have different baggage limits.

13. Transportation Limitations
Sons & Daughter Safaris cannot be held responsible for road or airstrip conditions that may make travel difficult or temporarily impossible. Any necessary changes to the itinerary due to access or weather issues will follow the same conditions and rates outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

14. Force Majeure
“Force Majeure” refers to events beyond the control of Sons & Daughter Safaris, including (but not limited to) natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government actions, epidemics, or severe weather.
If affected by such events, the company will notify clients promptly. Sons & Daughter Safaris shall not be liable for delays or non-performance resulting from these circumstances. Where possible, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or refund affected services, minus any non-recoverable costs incurred.

15. Regulations on Souvenir Purchases
Sons & Daughter Safaris strictly prohibits the purchase, sale, or transport of illegal or forbidden souvenirs. These include items made from ivory, rhino horn, animal skins, bones, feathers, or any other parts of protected wildlife.
We also prohibit the trade or possession of artifacts taken from protected sites, as well as illegal substances. Our aim is to promote ethical and responsible tourism that respects wildlife, culture, and conservation laws.

16. Safeguarding Policy
Sons & Daughter Safaris is fully committed to responsible and ethical tourism. We strongly condemn all forms of exploitation and abuse, especially sexual exploitation of children and vulnerable individuals.

17. Complaints
Any complaint during the trip should be brought to the attention of the guide or company representative immediately so it can be resolved. If not resolved during the trip, a written complaint should be submitted within 14 days after the end of the tour.

18. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes shall fall under Tanzanian jurisdiction.

19. Photography and Marketing
Sons & Daughter Safaris may use photographs or videos taken during tours for marketing purposes unless the client explicitly requests otherwise in writing.

20. Child Policy
Children are welcome on our safaris, and special rates may apply. Some accommodations and activities may have age restrictions, which will be communicated during booking.

21. Privacy Policy
All personal information shared with us is treated with confidentiality and used solely for travel arrangements and communication purposes.
We encourage our guests to remain alert and report any suspicious behaviour to our team or local authorities. Together, we can ensure that tourism remains a positive and respectful force for communities and travellers alike.
