Sons & Daughter Safaris was born from a story close to the heart. Our founder, Hellen Peter, grew up surrounded by the magic of Tanzania’s wild places, a world introduced to her by her late father, who worked as a tour guide over 40 years ago. From a young age, Hellen spent countless days exploring national parks with her family, learning to appreciate the rhythm of nature and the deep connection people share with the land.
After working for eight years as a professional travel consultant, Hellen transformed that passion and experience into Sons & Daughter Safaris. Her mission was clear, to offer travellers an experience that goes beyond sightseeing, one that connects hearts to nature and people to culture.
We believe safaris should be personal, purposeful, and profoundly memorable. That’s why every journey we create is crafted with care, from handpicked lodges and trusted guides to thoughtful itineraries that balance adventure and comfort.
