Types of Visas

- • Referral Visa:
Certain nationalities are required to obtain special clearance from the Commissioner General of Immigration (Mainland) or the Commissioner of Immigration (Zanzibar) before traveling to Tanzania. These are known as Referral Visa cases.
Applicants from referral visa countries cannot obtain a visa on arrival and must apply online at least two months before their travel date.
