Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
- • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative/guide who will transfer you to Arusha City
- • Check-in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure (Dinner and overnight stay in Arusha at Arusha Safari Lodge – on Half Board (Dinner & Breakfast)
- • If time allows, you will receive a short briefing about your safari program on this day; if not, it will be done the next morning before you depart for your safari.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- • Early morning breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.
- • Depart for Tarangire National Park (Approx. 2-hour drive).
- • Enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and various antelopes.
- • A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.
- • In the afternoon, continue with game viewing before exiting the park and driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. (Approx. 3 -hour drive).
- • Arrive in the evening, check-in at your lodge/camp, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
- • Overnight stay in Ngorongoro at Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp – on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport
- • Early morning wake-up call and breakfast at the lodge/camp.
- • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo).
- • Enjoy breathtaking scenery and spot diverse wildlife, including cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and flamingos around Lake Magadi.
- • A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater.
- • In the early afternoon, ascend from the crater and start your transfer back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight home. (Approx. 4.20 -hour drive)
