Activities Plan
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
- • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you’ll be welcomed by our representative/guide who will transfer you to Arusha City (Approx. 1-hour drive).
- • Check-in at your hotel and relax after your flight.
- • Spend the evening at leisure, exploring Arusha or resting at the lodge. If time allows, you will receive a briefing about your safari on this day. Otherwise, this will take place the next morning before you depart for your safari.
- • Dinner and overnight stay in Arusha at Arusha Safari Lodge – on Half Board (Dinner & Breakfast)
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- • Early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.
- • Depart for Tarangire National Park (Approx. 2-hour drive).
- • Enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
- • Have a picnic lunch inside the park.
- • Continue with an afternoon game drive before exiting the park.
- • Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Approx. 3-hour drive).
- • Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge/camp, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
- • Overnight stay in Ngorongoro at Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp – on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Transfer to Manyara National Park
- • Early breakfast at the lodge/camp.
- • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, for a half-day game drive.
- • Spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and other wildlife such as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and flamingos at Lake Magadi.
- • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater.
- • In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive to Lake Manyara National Park (Approx. 1.5-hour drive).
- • Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge/camp, and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
- • Overnight stay near Manyara National Park at Heart and Soul Lodge Manyara on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, breakfast)
Day 4: Manyara Treetop Walkway – Mto wa Mbu Village – Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport
- • Morning breakfast at your lodge/camp.
- • Head to the Manyara Treetop Walkway, a unique canopy walk that offers stunning views of the forest from up to 18 meters high.
- • After the treetop walk, proceed to Mto wa Mbu Village, a vibrant cultural hotspot known for its diverse ethnic communities.
- • Take part in a guided village tour, visit local markets, banana farms, and even interact with artisans.
- • Enjoy a traditional local lunch prepared by villagers, giving you a taste of authentic Tanzanian cuisine.
- • After lunch, drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (Approx. 3-hour drive).
- • Arrive at the airport in time for your departure flight home.
