Activities Plan
Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Transfer to Arusha
- • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where you’ll be welcomed by our professional guide who will transfer you to Arusha City (Approx. 1-hour drive).
- • Check-in at your hotel and relax after your long flight.
- • Spend the evening at leisure, exploring Arusha or resting at the lodge. If time allows, you will receive a briefing about your safari on this day. Otherwise, this will take place the next morning before you depart for your safari.
- • Dinner and overnight stay in Arusha at Arusha Safari Lodge – on Half Board (Dinner & Breakfast)
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Overnight in Tarangire
- • Early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.
- • Depart for Tarangire National Park (Approx. 2-hour drive).
- • Enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.
- • A picnic lunch will be served inside the park.
- • Continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge/camp for relaxation.
- • Enjoy dinner and overnight in Tarangire at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)
Day 3: Tarangire – Central Serengeti (Afternoon Game Drive & Overnight)
- • Early morning breakfast at the lodge/camp.
- • Depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Approx. 6-hour drive).
- • Stop for a picnic lunch on the way.
- • Arrive in Central Serengeti and enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring the endless plains home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of herbivores.
- • Dinner and overnight in Central Serengeti at Moyo Tented Camp on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)
Day 4: Morning Game Drive in Serengeti – Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
- • Early breakfast at the lodge/camp.
- • Early morning game drive in Central Serengeti, an excellent time to spot predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunting. Continue with a mid-morning game drive as you exit the Serengeti.
- • Stop for a picnic lunch on the way.
- • Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Approx. 3.30-hour drive).
- • Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge/camp, and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
- • Overnight stay in Ngorongoro at Ngorongoro Kuhama Camp – on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport
- • Early breakfast at the lodge/camp.
- • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a half-day game drive.
- • Spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo) and other wildlife such as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, and flamingos at Lake Magadi.
- • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater.
- • In the early afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (Approx. 4.20-hour drive).
- • Arrive at the airport in time for your departure flight home.
