Activities Plan


Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) – Transfer to Arusha

  • • Arrive at JRO where you will be met by our representative.
  • • Transfer to your hotel in Arusha (approx. 1-hour drive).
  • • Briefing about the safari itinerary.
  • • Optional: Explore Arusha city, visit the Maasai Market, or the Cultural Heritage Center.
  • • Overnight in Arusha at Arusha Safari Lodge – on Half Board (Dinner & Breakfast)

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

  • • After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hours).
  • • Enjoy a game drive in the park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
  • • Spot diverse wildlife such as lions, leopards, zebras, and giraffes.
  • • Picnic lunch in the park.
  • • Evening game drive before heading to your lodge.
  • • Overnight in Tarangire at Sangaiwe Tented Lodge on Half Board (Dinner, Breakfast)

Day 3: Tarangire – Lake Eyasi (Datoga & Hadzabe Tribes)

  • • After breakfast, do an early enroute game drive in Tarangire as you depart for Lake Eyasi (approx. 3 hours).
  • • Arrive at Lake Eyasi and visit the Datoga tribe, known for their traditional blacksmithing skills.
  • • Enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge in Lake Eyasi.
  • • Enjoy a cultural dinner and storytelling session.
  • • Overnight at a lodge in Lake Eyasi at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, breakfast)

Day 4: Lake Eyasi – Central Serengeti National Park

  • • Early morning hunting experience with the Hadzabe tribe. Interact with one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Experience their hunting techniques and traditional way of life.
  • • After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti (approx. 5 hours).
  • • Enter Serengeti National Park through Naabi Hill Gate.
  • • Afternoon game drive in the Central Serengeti, famous for its abundance of wildlife.
  • • Spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and possibly the Great Migration herds.
  • • Overnight in Central Serengeti at Moyo Tented Camp on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)

Day 5: Full Day in Central Serengeti

  • • Have an early breakfast and start an early morning game drive to witness predators in action.
  • • On this day you have a full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti.
  • • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.
  • • Have an evening game drive before returning to your lodge/camp.
  • • Overnight in Central Serengeti Moyo Tented Camp on Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)

Day 6: Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • • Morning and final game drive in Serengeti before heading towards Ngorongoro (approx. 3.30 hours).
  • • Stop at Olduvai Gorge, the famous archaeological site known as the "Cradle of Mankind." (Optional)
  • • Enjoy a picnic lunch out in the park
  • • Cultural experience with the Maasai people, learning about their traditions and lifestyle (optional).
  • • Overnight at a lodge/camp in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Ngorongoro Kuhama Campon Full Board (Dinner, Picnic lunch box, Breakfast)

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for Departure

  • • Early breakfast and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
  • • Spot the Big Five and other wildlife in the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera.
  • • Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool.
  • • After the tour, drive back to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your international flight home (approx. 4.20 hours).
